#1:

undeleted ever again!"
Why
This Is A Myth:
Virtually all programs write secret temp files that
are erased 'by the running program' when closed. These
SECRET temp files can be located and undeleted by data
recovery professionals.

When you delete your partition table, only "ONE
sector" (head 0 cyln 0 sect 1)
was deleted from your hard disk! All of your other data
is still on your drive and is still easily recoverable
by professionals. Even if you take the next step and
zero out the boot sector, you have only deleted one
sector normally located at head 1 cyl 0 sector 1. This
does not prevent experts from reading the rest of the
data on your hard drive!
