The Direct newsgroup account does not need a web page to read or post messages. You can use programs such as Netscape, Microsoft Outlook or your favourite mail program. News groups are directly accessed and downloaded to your hard drive. Because the messages are downloaded, they can easily be read offline at your leisure. Our NTP news server allows you to post messages anonymously. It also gives you access to private news groups and other groups not found on our Web News server. There are no daily or monthly bandwidth or message limits. Perfect for DSL or cable users.
