Direct newsgroup account does not need a web page to read or post messages. You
can use programs such as Netscape, Microsoft Outlook or your favourite mail program.
News groups are directly accessed and downloaded to your hard drive. Because the

NTP news server allows you to post messages anonymously. It also gives you access
to private news groups and other groups not found on our Web News server. There
are no daily or monthly bandwidth or message limits. Perfect for DSL or cable
users.
After
you sign up for the Web News service, you will select your user name and password.
Once you have your user name and password you will need to enter the members section
at: http://newsmembers.lockdowncorp.com/members/
(this will automatically add your news access to all
of the proxy connection news servers).
